THE STRIPPED-DOWN AGREEMENT

Most terms of service are designed to protect companies while confusing customers. We killed the unnecessary complexity to create a straightforward agreement that protects both of us.

OUR SERVICE COMMITMENT

What We’ll Deliver:

• Professional WordPress website built according to your selected design
• Mobile-responsive layouts that work on all devices
• SEO-optimized structure and settings
• Basic security measures
• Client training on making simple updates

Timeline:

• 3 weeks from content submission to draft website
• 1 week for revisions and final adjustments
• Launch upon final approval and payment

Revisions:

• Two rounds of revisions included
• Additional revisions available at our standard hourly rate

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Critical Project Requirements:

• Complete the website questionnaire within 5 business days
• Provide content and images as requested
• Review drafts and provide feedback within 5 business days
• Make final payment before website launch

Domain and Hosting:

• Register your own domain name and set up hosting accounts
• Grant us temporary access to these accounts
• Maintain and renew these accounts going forward

OWNERSHIP & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

What You Own:

• Your completed website once paid in full
• All content you provide (text, images, logos)
• Your domain name and hosting account

What We Own:

• Our pre-built frameworks and templates
• Our internal processes and methodologies

Third-Party Elements:

• Stock photos, themes, plugins and other licensed elements are subject to their own terms

PAYMENT TERMS

Project Fees:

• $299 deposit required to begin work (non-refundable after 48 hours)
• Remaining balance due before website launch
• Additional services billed according to our current rate sheet

Maintenance Plans (Optional):

• Billed monthly or annually
• Can be canceled with 30 days notice
• No refunds for partial months

CANCELLATION & TERMINATION

Project Cancellation:

• If you cancel within 48 hours of deposit: full refund
• If you cancel after design approval: full refund
• If you cancel after development begins: full refund

Abandonment:

• Projects inactive for 30+ days may be considered abandoned
• We’ll attempt to contact you before closing abandoned projects
• No refunds for abandoned projects

Our Right to Terminate:

• We may terminate if you breach these terms
• We may terminate if you request work outside our ethical boundaries
• We may terminate if you do not act in good faith/treat us disrespectfully
• If we terminate, we’ll issue a full refund and you will receive no work product

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Our Maximum Liability:

• Limited to the amount you paid us
• No liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages
• No liability for third-party services (hosting, domains, plugins)

Website Performance:

• We build professional websites but cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic, or business results
• We’re not responsible for downtime caused by third-party hosting

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Working Together:

• We’ll try to resolve disagreements directly through open communication
• Please bring concerns to us immediately so we can address them

Legal Proceedings:

• Mediation required before any legal action

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
